Julia Harding and Sue Manktelow travelled to London for the Plunkett Rural Business Awards, in which Woodgreen Community Shop was a finalist in the Going Green Award. They met other inspiring Community Businesses from across the UK — sharing ideas, experiences, and plenty of encouragement.
We’re proud to say they came home with a framed certificate to display in the shop.
A huge thank you to Bill Shepley and Steve Morris for creating our short video as part of our entry and in record time, also to Carole Stevenson for the brilliant voice over. A wonderful team effort all round.
