Woodgreen Community Shop is delighted to announce that it is a finalist of the Going Green Award which is kindly sponsored by @Suma Wholefoods in the @Plunkett UK and @Lands_LIH Rural Community Business Awards 2026. In recent years, we’ve made significant strides in strengthening our sustainability and environmental performance. A key milestone has been the installation of a fully grant funded solar panel and battery storage system, which should now generate around 30% of our energy needs.
We’re looking forward to celebrating with other community businesses in London on 2 July! Check out Plunkett’s website to find out more: https://plunkett.co.uk/rural-community-business-awards/ #RCBAwards2026
